AGGRESSIVE EDUCATION  

Today, 12.5 million children are overweight in the United States. O.F.F.A. is committed to reversing the epidemic of childhood obesity by aggressively educating families across the United States in underserved communities on the areas of proper physical fitness and nutrition.

 

PARTNERSHIPS WITH LOCAL, FEDERAL AND STATE PROGRAMS  

O.F.F.A. will also partner with local, federal and state programs on public policy and health policy goal setting initiatives in order to achieve the ambitious goal of restoring a sense of health and well being in all of our communities, especially the generally under-served populations.

 

EVERYONE IS PART OF THE SOLUTION 

Our membership is comprised of a diverse mix of Obesity Free Foods producers, processors, manufacturers, distributors and retailers, as well as related vendors, suppliers, aligned organizations and individuals. We believe that the Obesity Free Foods Association and the farming sector must integrate environmentally sound, socially just business practices using a systems-based approach in order to reach its full potential.

 

We support our members in implementing innovative solutions that are sustainable business practices across the supply chain, from farm to retail. We seek members and partners who will join us in advocating for this meaningful change within the entire Obesity Free Foods sector.

 

BEST EXERCISE FITNESS PROGRAMS  

Since the O.F.F.A. was founded out of a commitment to the health of children, we understand that the next generation of healthy kids requires innovative interactive programs such as the Best Exercise Fitness Program which is fun, inexpensive, and integrative.

 

The Best Exercise Fitness Program allows children and adults to compete with one another on various on line exercise platforms in real time, all while offering real time support through a robust social media and mobile application platform.

 

This program will in turn help prevent impulsive consumption of trigger foods that lead to obesity by having the ability to reach out to like-minded goal oriented individuals committed to leading an Obesity Free Lifestyle and supporting one another in real time.

 

This program will be open to children and adults of all ages, abilities and fitness levels.
